About This Sherry

At the beginning of September after the harvest, the fermented grape must is converted in to wine. It is classified and aged in the wood for approximately two years during which it acquired its particular characteristics.

Finally after blending three types, amontillado, oloroso and pedro Ximenez the sherry is introduced into the traditional Solera system.

Dry Sack is the result of a unique blend of amontillados, olorosos and Pedro Ximenez, neither are too sweet nor too dry, and distinct from all other sherries as a result of the combination of wines selected for blending. It was first brought onto the market in 1906 and is a world famous classic sherry.
