About This Wine

The grapes for this wine come from both the regions of Paarl and Franschhoek. When the grapes are ready for harvest they are individually selected by block to ensure they are at their optimum ripeness.

After the crushing and destalking the pulp is pumped directly into rotor tanks where the skin contact takes place for 24 hours. The pulp is inoculated with active dry yeast to start fermentation which lasts about 24 hours. Colour and flavours are extracted from the skins through rotation of the tanks.
