About This Wine

The fruit from each vineyard and variety in each vineyard plot are fermented separately. This is to enable the winemakers to treat each area with the care it requires and blend back the wines with more precision.

Fermentation takes place partly in wooden vats, some in stainless steel, with the fermentation temperature controlled during three weeks of maceration.

After fermentation the Chateau Talbot is placed in 50 to 60% new oak barrels
