Like the neighbouring Valpolicella, Soave has expanded enormously with the creation of a DOC in 1968. The original rules governing grape composition have been since revise, which allows the commonly used work horse grape Garganega, to be supplemented with up to 30% Chardonnay, Pinot Blanc or Trebbiano di Soave, This tames the overtly vegetal character of the Garganega. A well made Soave such as this, will be a crisp delicate and refreshing glass of wine.
Excellent quality, single-vineyard Soave. Crisp, well balanced and precise on the palate.
