1844 - 1897 - The Early Days
1844 Weavers Vaults Cellars is established on Lister Gate, Nottingham.
1897 - The Trease Family Takes Charge
George Trease purchases Weavers Vaults from Mr. Weaver who emigrated to South Africa.
1916 - The Morning After
The site of the exisiting shop suffered bomb damage during World 1 War.
1960 - Weavers Vaults Closes on Lister Gate
In 1960 the Trease family decide to the the The freeholf of "The Weavers Vaults" on Lister Gate
1962 - Keith Whitehead Joins Weavers
Keith Whitehead joins Weavers after working with Hay and Sons of Sheffield for 2 years.
1983 - Weavers Trials Home Shopping
July 1983 Weavers became the first wine merchants to trial home shopping by joining the Homelink.
1989 - No17 Castle Gate is Opened
Geoffrey Trease makes the offical opening of No17 Castle Gate.
1994 - Weavers Celebrates Their 150 Anniversary
Weavers celebrates their 150 Anniversary with, at the time, one of Nottingham bgiggest ever wine tastings.
