History

The Casell d'Olerdola range is part of the Castillo Perelada group, a family-owned business based in Empurdán, Spain. The business started in 1979 and was modernised and enlarged in 1990. Castillo Perelada has an annual capacity of about three and a half million bottles across its range of wines.

The three white grape varieties of the DO Penedés region are used in the d'Olardola Cava, predominantly Macabeo and Xarel-lo, together with a little Parellada.
