Welcome to the Weavers web site. All wines can benefit from a good food match and equally the simplest meal can become an indulgence with a great wine match.

There are many classic combinations like steak and Syrah (aka Shiraz), risotto with White Burgundy (oaked Chardonnay), and Port and stilton, but one of the cheapest indulgences can be fish and chips and a good dry Riesling. The fatty batter of the fish with fresh lime and citrus flavour of the Riesling is great, I highly recommend it.
